South Jingle Pot

South Jingle Pot is very similar to its northern neighbour and is relatively close to the downtown core. South Jingle Pot is slightly more developed than the northern section of Jingle Pot. There are several different subdivisions around Westwood Lake, which are also adjacent to the University District. The Westwood Lake Area is relatively new so you will find recent developments and prices are a little bit higher than in other established areas. Morrell Nature Sanctuary, Buttertubs Marsh, Vancouver Island University, the fabulous Nanaimo Aquatic Centre and the Nanaimo Ice Rinks are all but a few minutes away by car too.
